PCC welcomes everyone!
Whether you’ve attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in a church, we encourage all to visit regardless of your beliefs or background. You’ll find that we are a group of people who truly desire to experience God and discover that life was never meant to be traveled alone.
For those with hearing difficulties, personal listening devices are available. Our building is also wheelchair accessible.
When are services?
Our services are on Sunday morning at 10:30 am and typically last a little over an hour. Our services are full of live music, prayer, reading and teaching from God’s Word, and occasional testimonies. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (communion) every month, usually on the first Sunday of the month.
What should I wear?
We encourage all to come as you are. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire—from jeans to ties—so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
Is there childcare?
If you have children, we offer childcare during our worship service for infants through 3 years. Our Nursery is safe, clean and staffed by volunteers who have taken a Children’s Safety Course and have completed full background checks.
Children 4 years of age through 3rd grade are invited to attend Children’s Church during the service. After the worship team has led us in singing, the pastor will dismiss the children for children’s church. Parents are invited to take their children to the Woodland Room where they will have a special, age appropriate lesson. All our Children’s Church staff have gone through a Child Safety Course and have completed full background checks.
We strongly encourage children grades 4 and up to stay with their families during the service, as they learn to worship God with the congregation.
Are Sunday School classes offered?
We offer Sunday School classes from September through June for children through adults. Sunday School is offered before Sunday Worship starting at 9:30 am. The Nursery is available during the Sunday School hour for infants through 3 years of age.
What kind of church is Pompey Community Church?
